Corrective Chiropractic: Why Surgery and Drugs Aren’t the Solution for Back Pain

A new study conducted by the Harvard Medical School suggests that millions of Americans suffering with back pain are receiving treatment that is not necessarily addressing the root cause of pain. Specifically, a 106% increase in the number of referrals to other doctors for back surgery, and over 50% increase in the use of narcotics to manage pain.
There are concerns in the medical profession that over-prescribing narcotics for back pain management can lead to addiction, overdose, and even death. Nearly 25% of back pain patients ended up abusing the drugs and even selling them.
Furthermore back pain referrals to orthopedic surgeons is being called a “worrisome trend” especially since there is very little proof that back surgery actually works. Back surgery should often be the last treatment option when all other options are rendered ineffective.
So what other treatment options are available to back pain sufferers, if drugs and surgery aren’t exactly safe or effective?
Corrective chiropractic care through a technique called Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP) is one of the most scientific, researched, and results-driven approaches that eliminates the source of pain and discomfort – without drugs or surgery.
Mislaignments in the spine lead to pain and nerve interference, which in turn diminishes nerve energy from reaching the patient’s limbs and organs. If left untreated, the patient will experience organ dysfunction and disease.
While narcotics simply “manage” the pain short term, they do not address nerve interference or the dangerous effects of organ dysfunction. That’s why the only way to treat back pain and reverse years of nerve interference is through corrective chiropractic care.
If you or a loved one is suffering from pain, fatigue, organ dysfunction, and even certain conditions such as Acid Reflux, Asthma, Allergies, Weak Immune System, High Blood Pressure, or Migraines, a chiropractor specializing in Chiropractic BioPhysics can help.
