In addition to his practice, Dr. Lightstone co-founded and runs the Institute for Spinal Health and Performance, a research non-profit. He and his team have researched the spine and its connection to disease and dysfunction. He and his team are published in various high-quality, peer-reviewed research journals and collaborate on projects with prestigious institutions around the country such as Chiropractic BioPhysics® Non-Profit, Colorado University-Boulder and Emory University. Dr. Lightstone also co-founded and is editor-in-chief of a research journal, the Journal of Spinal Health and Performance. He believes that teaching, communicating, and helping people are not bound by the walls of his chiropractic practice.
