About the Doctor

Dr. David Shapiro is a licensed and board-certified chiropractor since 1993, and he is the Clinic Director of Complete Spine Solutions in Tucker. He is recognized as one of only a few Advanced Certified in Chiropractic Biophysics® in Georgia. He has been practicing Chiropractic BioPhysics and in full-time practice longer than any other chiropractor in Georgia. 

Dr. Shapiro’s case study titled “Chiropractic Care of a Patient with Parkinson’s Disease Utilizing Chiropractic Biophysics: A Case Study” was published in Annals of Vertebral Subluxation Research in April 2012. This is just one of 3 published studies that have come out of Complete Spine Solutions. He has also written articles for leading health journals, including The Journal of Oncology Management and ACCC’s Oncology Issues, which was highlighted on Medscape. Dr. Shapiro has been a guest speaker at numerous medical conferences, including the Association of Community Cancer Centers in Washington, Penn State’s 4th Annual Clinical Oncology Symposium, The Arizona Clinical Oncology Society, and the 22nd Annual Scripps Nurses’ Symposium in San Diego. He presents health and wellness issues relating to posture and chiropractic at Dekalb Medical Center’s Grand Rounds, medical offices, dozens of corporations, and schools. Dr. Shapiro’s work has been featured in various publications such as Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta Sports and Fitness Magazine, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and he has appeared on CBS News Nightly Health Report, where his work with early detection of osteoporosis was the feature story. 

Dr. Shapiro is also a part of the extension faculty of Life University, where he has instructed and mentored dozens of chiropractic students. He has served on the executive boards of the Tucker Business Association as well as the Georgia Cardiac Life Extension and Rescue Coalition. Dr. Shapiro routinely donates his services to raise money for worthy community causes such as Operation Home Front to support the families of our troops, the local food bank, and the Tucker High School Scholarship Fund, and he has volunteered his time to perform health screenings for Special Olympics athletes in DeKalb County. 

CSS, under the guidance of Dr. Shapiro, takes care of military veterans through referrals from the VA to take care of both active duty and retired veterans at discounted fees. Complete Spine Solutions serves as a training facility for new doctors just entering the field in association with Life University and Palmer College of Chiropractic.
