CBP Technique’s Mission
Chiropractic is changing. Research, patient management, objective clinical results, treatment techniques, philosophies, and principles all advance over time. The mission of Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) Technique is to provide a research based response to these changing times that is clinically, technically, and philosophically sound. By joining together, we can participate in the redefinition and updating of the chiropractic profession. This journey, all of us must take as a profession to become the best Chiropractors we can be. CBP’s efforts focus on chiropractic corrective care through structural rehabilitation of the spine and posture using mirror image® adjusting, exercise, and spinal remodeling procedure.
Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) combines standard chiropractic joint adjustments with mirror image® (opposite position) postural adjustments, mirror image spinal/postural exercise, and mirror image traction to provide more permanent relief and improved health for patients through spine and postural correction.
Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) Technique is a full spine and pelvis corrective / rehabilitative technique-system having a firm foundation in the sciences of mechanics and physics and is an evidence based technique system having approximately 140 peer reviewed publications involving the technique principles and practices. CBP Technique utilizes MIRROR IMAGE® adjusting, MIRROR IMAGE exercises and MIRROR IMAGE traction to restore normal spine mechanics through improved spinal and postural alignment. CBP Technique integrates Drop Table, Diversified, Toggle, and Instrument assisted adjustments. Analytical procedures include visualization, postural analysis, and x-ray analysis. Additionally, ergonomic intervention, nutritional recommendations, and other standard procedures are incorporated creating a comprehensive system for today’s patient populations.
Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) Technique is taught in 7 Chiropractic Colleges Worldwide. Additionally, CBP Seminars provides additional post-graduate continuing educational training to Chiropractors in 14 different courses. These post-grad courses cover unique areas and aspects of spinal disorders and their consequent CBP Technique analytical procedures and interventions.
The Techniques of Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) have been proven in practice for nearly 30 years. And, for the past 15 years they’ve been subjected to more clinical trials and the scrutiny of peer-reviewed research publications than any other chiropractic named technique approach.
So it’s safe to say that CBP practitioners know their stuff. And CBP certification shows they know it well. General CBP Certification involves attending six seminars to learn the fundamentals of CBP and successfully passing a test to demonstrate mastery of the methods.
Chiropractors earn Advanced CBP Certification through additional training in six specialized seminars. Testing for Advanced Certification includes presenting a case using CBP procedures to peers at a CBP conference (or in written form).
